Convened jointly by Academicians E Weinan, Ding Hong, and Tang Chao, and co-hosted by the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, and Beijing DP Technology. The symposium analyzed three major AI4S challenges—'Data Scarcity and Isolation', 'Interdisciplinary Talent Shortage', and 'Research Tool Bottlenecks'—proposing innovative solutions like embodied AI laboratories and national big-science initiatives. Simultaneously advancing the establishment of the 'Expert Committee for Scientific Intelligence' to provide a core framework for policy-making.
